Chris Thomas Hayes is an actor, writer, director, improviser, and puppeteer, originally from Hartford, Connecticut. For over two decades, Chris has performed in front of family and adult audiences all over the country and has been seen on tons of household television sets...do they still make television sets?
On stage, Chris has had the pleasure to tour and perform with The Madcap Puppets, Dark Side of The Room, Dad's Garage, Whole World Improv Theatre, The Center for Puppetry Arts, and The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
On-screen, Chris has been seen on shows like Teen Wolf (MTV), Doom Patrol (HBO), Vampire Diaries (CW), The Curse of Bridge Hollow (Netflix), Woke (Hulu), Eric (Netflix), and Sesame Street, where Chris serves as Muppet Performer for Hoots the Owl and Elijah. Some of his work on Sesame has been featured in A Swinging Sesame Celebration, The Today Show, My Sesame Street Friends, and in Time Magazine.
Chris is a member of SAG-AFTRA and is represented in the Southeast by Houghton Talent. He lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife, sons, and dogs.
